An additional £1.8m to tackle serious violence has been confirmed. £1.18m will fund the Thames Valley Violence Reduction Unit’s work for the coming year. An additional £735,000 has also been confirmed to fund violence hotspot policing.
The first annual Thames Valley Violence Reduction Unit Strategic Needs Assessment document has been published, collating information from across partners . It provides new insights which underpin the public health approach to tackling serious violence and will inform activity over the coming year.
