Safety and vulnerabilities: VRU host webinar for hospitality and night time economy workers

As we approach Christmas, the hospitality and night time economy industries remain busy. There is continued concern and priority being given to how we can make people, particularly women, safer at night. Also, a need to respond to increased use of illegal drugs and alcohol during the party season.

The VRU and its partners are hosting a free and open-to-all webinar on Tuesday 14 December from 11am to 12.15pm.

Guest speakers include:

• Prof Adam Winstock – an expert in substance misuse and addiction
• Alex Aldridge – PHD with a focus on sexual consent
• Kevin Young of the Security Industries Association
• Debie Pearmain of Thames Valley Police Licensing Tea
